She's in for work. The outcome unknown. I'm worried :(

My 993 is in for suspension work today. I'm worried. There was a a lot of banging noises going on underneath driving her to the garage, and it seemed like it was coming from the front and back. It was originally booked in to replace the strut mounts and dampers, but I just have a feeling there is going to be a whole load of other issues as well.
This is more worrying than the morning of my wedding. I couldn't sleep last night, today I can't eat or focus on anything.
I'm booked on the ferry to Spain in early July, still haven't paid for the boat; yet here I am facing possible ruin on getting the car ready for a trip I might not yet be able to afford. The wife wants an extention on the house and a family holiday, I can't work any longer hours than I am already, oh and we need a new kitchen.
Thank God I have my 911. If she does cost alot to put right so be it, at least I will have a nice time in Spain with the lads. So we haven't a downstairs sink at the mo and we need the new kitchen pronto, but that, the house extention, holiday and missus etc etc can wait.
I'm sure the wife will understand.

Things take time. Although we have been through two builders from hell, Within the next three weeks our house will be completely finished.
22 years in August so not to long.
Guess what the wife wants to move

Tough one! Hopefully will be fine. If not, console yourself with the knowledge that you have undoubtedly had a shed load of fun stressing the suspension! Also it sounds like you have 2 wives. Gotta be fair and not favour one over the other!I am spending a lot on the new 993 but it is different when you are shelling out for 'improvements' rather than firefighting problems. Mine is going in to Auto Audio, Brent Park on Thurs to get her a new set of speakers. I was going to ask you if you had done anything about yours but maybe I won't right now! The cheap solution is £540 but I just have to have some half decent sounds. Still haven't had the steering rack done, blocking that one in my mind. Also hood needs to be sorted, etc, etc. My family is going to be hungry

Well, now on to the rear suspension. So far she needs and have had fitted 2 X drop links and asked them to renew the rear arb bushes whilst they're there.
Thankfully so far everything is coming apart easily. I guess that's a good sign of the build quality of the 993, because as far as I can tell, nothing has been replaced at the rear of the car, for over twenty years.
