Looking for a 356

I am looking for a nice 356. I have seen a few now but none quite right. Budget is around 50k. Anything decent considered. Thanks.

Mate, are you collecting consecutive numbered cars? Did you get the 355?
Have you tried PRS services in Billericay. You need to talk to Mike. That man has his finger on the 356 pulse in europe, although being in the trade, will find a fair car for a fair price, but no bargains!

Ha ha! Nope. My wife vetod the 355 in the end. Am set on a 356 now.

I have spoken to a lot of people including PRS who are really helpful.

Dave at DSD Motorwerks (.com) may know of a descent car. Maybe give him a try if you havn't already.

From what I have heard Roger Bray Restorations in Exeter are well thought of. Very top end of the market though. Called in on the way back from holiday recently and they showed me around the workshop and the collection of cars out back. Has a really good look at a 356 Carrera GT, fully restored, which they said had just sold for £750,000 ! I think the chap working there just wanted somebody to talk to for a few minutes !

Also try www.revival-cars.com as they sometimes have 365's.

I have a 356c (64) matching numbers low miles going through nut and bolt restoration with 9e in Horley which will be moving into a new home if you are interested. Think budget could fit. You can still choose interior and color. Original was slate grey and black inside. If I were to keep, I would do same colors to keep 100% original. Let me know if you wanna discuss.
