964 Guards C2

Good base for a track car maybe but to bring it up to 'standard' you'll in for 20k I suspect . Happy to be wrong thou .

Why would you want to bring it back to standard? Apart from the cage all the other mods are pretty subtle and just improve the car... if the engine is good as the seller claims then worse case and it'll need a repaint..£5-10K would cover that. Would be good to know what actually needs doing to this car..

I'm waiting for someone to offer a manual guards 964 C2 for such a good price that my only option would be to buy it from them. Condition doesn't have to be perfect for my Sunday funday car, but advert details are important!

Black Porsche 964 Carrera 2 1990
137k miles
5 previous keepers
Service History + bills and paperwork + some old MOT's
Linen leather seats, doorcards and carpet, black dash and headlining
Sunroof
D90's & Flags

Good bits:
Non-AC
Totally standard, no mods
HPI checked
5 months tax
MOT till may
Sports seats (2 way electric)

Less good bits:
Rear lights cracked(but all working)
Oil leaks near thermostat & some on engine
Rust(lower windscreen surround, rear wing where it meets bumper)
Some bumper fixings missing
NS front wheel arch liner missing
1 failed heater servo(the rest work)


Overall:
A decent non-messed with 964 C2 manual coupe that needs a bit of love. Decent paint & sports seats. Drives/pulls well, feels solid with no clunks/rattles etc. I'm only selling as I cant really get on with RHD 911's, if it was a left hooker I would keep it and spend some ££ sorting some bits out as it goes really well.
