Yes, I've heard good things about them Vic, also heard good things about Centre Gravity - so when I have a few days spare I will get one of them to look at it.

Vic, agree that centre gravity guy is looking like the next candidate to play with the alignment.....why would you go to the trouble of an electric steering pump, I appreciate it sits up front for balance and would save a few kg...would that give you 1/2 sec a lap at Goodwood???...just move the console over and jam the throttle open again...could shave a good few whole secs a lap!

I would have thought that your car was enough fun as it is, plus originality helps the value of these cars?

Just to put a few details in on gt2
Most or all the evo 2 street cars were fitted with standard glass, and steel doors.
I am not aware of any thinner steel on a gt2.
seem welding on the street versions amounted to about 100mm if that.Nothing like the earlier 964 cup etc ,as the 993 was much stiffer standard.
If you want to see seem welding at its best, see Paul macs gt2racer,my old car.Extra steel added to the shell also.
A even better tub, look at a rook car,my rook shell has seem welding every other 25mm on most parts, but not the extra plates around the mounting points etc that the ex factory race cars had.

Vic if you want more feel, fit a 964 cup rack no power and quicker ratio.Need thicker arms though!!

Rennsport Re union was awesome at Daytona, one for you guys not to miss in 09.One thing the yanks know is how to put on a porsche show and good racng.

Link not working.
Julian, I hope this won’t offend, but is there any chance you could start your own thread along the lines of “Interesting Porsche stuff for sale” and post links such as the one you’ve posted above in it, rather than resurrecting what are 10,15,20 year old threads, no matter how tenuous the subject matter, merely by adding a classified link to them ?

The Porsche forum is becoming increasingly “cluttered”, and a large part of that is due to your constant thread resurrections, and whilst for us long term PH contributors, they have some relevance, for most they have little or none.

Can do, shall do! no offence taken (but seen this after I posted a few today). That said, I do try and post in what is the most relevant subject title - to me that scans better and compartmentalises more accurately - but yep shall do.
