Cayenne turbo hybrid - Corsa tyres?

I have a MY24 one of these and it was specced with the optional ‘summer’ tyres, Pirelli corsas. I’m concerned they might get a bit squirrelly any minute with the colder weather - anyone got any experience of these in winter?

Thinking I just get them changed now, even though they only have 2k miles on them.. it’s not like I am ever going on track with the car!

What are the best all year tyres would anyone hazard an opinion?

I've got them on my 2023 turbo GT. Got through last winter OK and will probably keep them on again. Just needs a bit of care when the weather's bad rather than pushing on regardless.

I will though replace with MP4S when they're done.

I had Corsas on my Scuderia before switching to Cup 2. From memory they were ok in the wet and drivable in cold weather (only saw snow once - which was not much fun....). I would not recommend to drive them on a regular basis in cold and wet weather though - would get some winter tyres and just switch over

Thanks for the replies. I can see the sense of having them on a GT car, but for the turbo hybrid I think it’s a pain. Today in 9 degrees there’s judder and slip, they’re as hard as hockey pucks! Hate to think what they’re like at zero.. I’ve already got an impractical sports car to not be able to drive in the winter months - don’t need 2!

I think I’ll get a set of winters and switch them over.

I was at Center Gravity a few months ago they’d had a Turbo GT in the day before. They said the tyre’s were more extreme in specification of the compound than those on a GT3 RS….I guess to get that lunatic ‘ring time.

Prompted by the OP, I've done a bit of homework on alternatives. Think I'd go for the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S, non N rated, wet grip Class A versus C on the Corsas.

There is an N0 rated option too but its only wet class B and the compound has never been updated since 2016.

Got MP4S on my other cars and its a great tyre.

Don't you need to run N rated tyres to uphold the Porsche warranty?

My 2019 Turbo has dreadful PZeros (21 inch) but they are the only viable option N rated.

I even asked my dealer if I changed to a non N rated tyre, would that impact the warranty (mine is still covered by Porsche) and they said yes.

Hence I opted for another set of PZero rather than a MPS4S or MPS SUV alternative (non N rated)..

Might be worth checking first..
