Evening guys.. left my car with Porsche Vienna for 2 weeks to replace a sensor, collected car and 1 hour later noticed the B & C pillars looked like this.. what on earth has happened here, all under the skin no way to take it off, noticed forums referring to ‘Spider Cracking’ but this looks like sparkly dust pattern, only on Passenger side all 3 panels. My mind is racing as to what was done to my car in those 2 weeks, but what’s the consensus as to what has happened and remedy? Cheers

Same on mine. All good for several years then the cracks appeared quite quickly over some hot and sunny days. Haven't yet explored if they are easily replaced. They're only held on with double-sided tape I think.

Many thanks arcamalpha.. sorry Porsche for taking my UK car on a European holiday where it is hotter! Jeez what build quality.. will take it in to OPC on my return then, imagine drivers side won’t be immune then..

Lookup headlight crazing; this looks very similar.

On headlights it is due to the UV protection film that is applied, with the remedy being to machine polish & reapply the film.
