Cayenne 958 - where does this go?

In the process of re-attaching the trim panel under the glovebox I’ve found this sensor(?) flapping around.

Anyone know what it is, and where it should be attached?

It's the intake air temp sensor, clips into heater box, or one of the pipes.

Footwell outlet temp sensor; unclip the vent tube hanger on the left under the glovebox first and then the vent is clipped to the heater box towards the console - it pulls down with a tilt to release from the tags inside the outlet nozzle. The temp sensor is a 90 degree twist to secure in the vent. There'll be a connector dangling somewhere to clip to the sensor to make it work!
