Cayenne 92A (Gen 2) pano roof manual opening
Discussion
Hi All,
I haven't opened the roof since last summer and now it will only tilt but not slide back. I know that the manual release is in the roof motor but I can't get it to move. Has anyone managed to open their roof manually ? Just wondering whether it takes brute force or whether it should be silky smooth. I don't want to force it and break something !!
Many thanks

there should be an allen key type thing in the toolkit for the roof - but AFAIK you can only manually close the roof - not open.
It could be a simple fix though! If its lack of use it may have lost its settings and needs a reset. With the ignition on hold the sunroof switch down* and hold for approx 2 mins. after about 30 secs of nothing happening the sunroof will start tiliting open then open / close fully. keep the switch held down until it has completed this procedure and has stopped in the closed position.

- if its not down, hold it pressed forward.

Many thanks, I forgot about the reset, I'll give it a try later. I have the tool but it's missing the handle (different size hex on either end so it must be lost). I have an allen key that fits but as you mention it can only be closed from open I'll cross my fingers for the reset !!
