Porsche Panamera 971 Gen 2 Warranty/Servicing Advice
Discussion
Morning everyone!
I was wondering if anyone had any advice.
I have a 2017 G2 Panamera, and the engine light started flashing two months ago. Porsche Assistance (AA) came and diagnosed it as having a faulty O2 sensor, but OK to drive with.
Two months later, the car is finally booked in for a service whereby they'll hopefully look and rectify this, as well as address a Safety Recall to change the additional pump for A/C control (essentially the pump responsible for AUTO REST heating after the engine is switched off), which could catch fire (indeed the recall notice advises parking the car away from people/buildings/other cars in case it catches fire!).
I've been sent a health check which suggests that I'll need to pay for an A/C service and the O2 sensor. Is this part of normal wear and tear? I've never had a car for this long (three years), so not sure what is considered wear and tear and what isn't!
