I placed an order back in March, a bit of out of touch just now, so wondered what kind of lead times are people being quoted?

Some OPC’s have stopped taking orders for the GTS as they think it will be out of production by the time they clear their backlog of orders.

I ordered mine in August 21 should be with me November 22 all being well.

Ordered mine August 2021 also, arrived at the OPC mid July and took delivery of it on 01/09 due to work & holiday commitments.

I ordered my GTS in mid August 2021 and it’s at the dealership ( Exeter Porsche) this Friday for a collection next week. It’s now a 2023 spec car sadly without the electric steering column even though we’d paid for the 18 way seats, still it will be good to finally get it 👍

I was told by an SE at Silverstone yesterday that it's 18 months for a GTS, and if you want a 911 it's two and a half years.

They also said that the backlog at the ports was absolutely horrific.

Wow on these numbers I suspect the residuals on both Macan and 992 will be solid for some time to come

Porsche residuals are normally strong, well as long as you don't go silly with options but it is hard to guess going forward. The UK is not an attractive market for them with weak sterling so they will probably keep volume tight especially of the lower margin cars. That said demand is bound to suffer a fall of some degree but starting off with long waiting lists gives Porsche UK lots of cushion to balance things out. Not easy though especially with the transition away from ICE cars.
