First post on this message board.
Ive owned this car for a few years, and I have to say its probably the best car to live with as a daily driver. I am in love with this thing....
Just a few odd issues have recently appeared, I have no idea if they are connected and I will try and explain what they are in basic non mechanical language...
A year ago my drainage tubes were blocked and had water in the rear quarter that fried the radio amp, during this time when I went to lock the car via the remote there was a weird grinding noise from the petrol cap central locking system - this has now just disappeared.

6 months ago, the rear drivers door central locking doesn't seem to open this door, you can only open it from inside, and there is a clicking noise from the central locking system when I drive off, and sometimes there isn't any noise, but in both cases when driving the doors are not locked as they would be normally.

so any ideas on what this can be and how I can fix it....Its not that serious and have been living with it....

Be glad of any ideas you have...many thanks

the rear door will be the actuator for the lock. Mine did the same, I removed it and cleaned everything up and its been fine since. They are not expensive if you need to replace -

should have added - search for youtube video on removing the door card and replacement etc. just makes it easier to find all the screws etc.
