Charging Panamera e-hybrid

I've got a Panamera e-hybrid as a loan car for a week or so, and I'd like to charge it - but I can't figure out how!

I've plugged it in at home using the normal charger, and the red light on the bottom button at the charging socket on the car flashes - but it doesn't charge. Same thing happened at a local fast charger. When I press the button, sometimes the big red light next to the socket comes on - still no charging.

What the hell am I doing wrong!? Surely you just plug it in and turn it on...?

Has the car got the departure timer set? It should be in the 'Hybrid' then 'Timer' in the main screen menu,
It may be waiting to charge for a particular departure time,

No, that's off. 3 times tomorrow are available in the menu but none are selected
