Looking at replacing the family BMW 535d Touring and quite like the idea of huge diesel torque of the 2016 on 4S V8 D.

Any owners on here care to share their experiences?

Hi,

I had one for 18 months or so and thought it was brilliant , mine had the rear wheel steer and as it was a launch car had a few options ticked. would definitely recommend getting one. The only downside was only having 4 seats, but 99% of the time it was fine for me and the family.

Thanks.

It seems rear steer is pretty rare.

What is the MPG like on steady M Way use?

HI,

From memory I think it averaged for longer Mway trips at a reasonable pace was around the 38-40mpg mark.

Cheers
Chris

So about the same as our current 535d Touring. Impressive given the larger engine an higher weight.

They’re rare cars full stop ! I had one as a loan car once, thought it was fantastic and would have one if they’d made a Sport Turismo. Have a Cayenne with the same engine in it....which I will probably keep for a long time because the engine is so good.

So will have to stick to my trusty 635d
