Greetings all,

Its been over a year since I bought a used Cayenne S 955 (2005) V8 4.5l. It came only with a single key fob. And lately was contempalting to see options for making a duplicate key, in case scenario. (the previous owner told she expected second key form previous trade seller and with so much following up he never given it, perhaps it was a goner in first place, so not possible to try this option)

The gen1 key fob is with two buttons. Managed to order a new aftermarket keyfob with blank blade and chip for £14 with delivery from china, used chinese webshopping of the billionaire.

Seen the "coloured logo insert" on the proscheshop.co.uk website but could be worth only after cutting and duplicating the code on the new key fob.

Two auto locksmiths are unable to reprogramme prosche, and one of them offered to do a valet key blade for £80.And on request advised they wouldnt involve if all keys lost case and it will be a dealer job then. Location is Aberdeen, second auto locksmith offered £85 plus vat for key cut with engine starting transponder done but no remote working. And he wont cut the aftermarket cut stating it is harder material for the cutting equipment.

Does anybody have recommendation for new aftermarket key duplication based on the current working remote key, V5 document and address proof?

Based in Aberdeen so travelling for this reason to South England is futile and as expected the local OPC is of no help and prefer to do this outside from them.

Any words of wisdom appreciated.
