Cayenne or Panamera Hybrid?!
Discussion
As the various ULES / LES regulations start to creep in, find myself thinking of swapping our venerable old Range Rover TDV8 for something Hybrid.
I am drawn to both the Panamera and Cayenne Hybrid offerings but wondering pro's and con's of each.
Would be looking at spending 30 - 40k on as new a car as that can get me into, realistically a 2014 or 2015 i would guess.
from what i have read, the real world 20 - 30 mile electric range would be just right for getting to and from the shops, and could fire up the donk for longer runs (i assume thats how they work).
Although i am coming from a RR, loosing the imperious SUV driving position is not something that would worry me moving to a Panamera.
So, pro's and cons of each, and what is the battery capability of these after 5 years / 50,000 miles, are they like a pair of rechargeable walkman batteries and getting knackered by now or is the technology a lot stronger these days?
Cheers.
