There's a million threads and posts out there on 944 sunroofs, but I can't find one with my particular issue.
On mine, the arms retract fine when pressing the button with ignition at position 1, for removing the panel completely. However, pressing the button the other way they don't go back up to secure the panel. In a similar vein, if I manually crank the sunroof tilted open, the button (ignition position 2) will close the sunroof. But it won't electrically tilt the roof open from the switch.
Clearly power is getting to the motor, and it works; just not in one way. Where's best to start looking to fix this - the switch itself, are there sensors, cables at the motor?
Thanks in advance!
