Buying & Running a circa MY2013 Cayenne
Discussion
Hi Folks
Looking for comments & advice on my next purchase. I currently have a MY2018 Cayenne Platinum which I have had from new & love it. Its on lease until Jan 2021. I have also recently finished a FTC job & currently not working. I may take early retirement, although I do have a 2nd interview tomorrow. I have to assume that early retirement is on the cards & would prefer not to lease in future but to buy. As I love my Cayenne & we need a similar large SUV capable of towing, an older Cayenne would be on the short list. Budget of £25K should get me into a 2012-2014 car. I have run 10-15 year old 911's as daily drives without any crazy bills. Whats people's experiences with a 6-8 year old Cayenne? Are they bomb proof. My current Cayenne is newer & no problems to report. Other alternatives on short list would be a MY2016/17 Touareg (much newer model & I'am told it has the same engine as a Cayenne) or GLE 350d.
Thoughts?
