Hey guys, I’m a long term Pistonheads fan but first time poster. After a long break from car ownership I recently bought this late 2011 rear wheel drive, manual Panamera S. Absolutely loving it!

Don't see many manuals Or with that colour interior. Yellow callipers? Got PCCBs?

Congratulations! I have a 2010 with manual and the cocoa interior, love it! In fact mine was the one in a Pistonheads article a few years back. I’ve only come across 4 for sale in past year, so members of a small club!

It’s a rarity by all accounts. Yellow callipers, which look great with the black wheels, and steel brakes rather than carbon ceramic, which I’m pleased about to be honest.

Cheers Ben. I’d be interested to see a photo of yours to compare the specs.

Based in Chislehurst by any chance? Always had a soft spot for the Panamera... Have a 928 GTS 5-spd instead...

Despite some not getting on with the looks they are great cars. My 78 year old mum went out in the back of mine a couple of years back & decided she wanted one, thought it was great as a passenger. They normally have Mercs.

I had one on loan as a service car when they first came out. I was mighty impressed with the whole thing. Huge, yet could be chucked around the Suffolk country lanes like a Boxster. The rear seats are awesome....super comfortable according to my 6ft plus mates who I took out for a 200 mile trip.

I was looking at that Panamera on AutoTrader the other day and wondering why it was so dear in relation to the PDK Panamera available at dealers. A fantastic find and a great buy as long as you secured it for the right money smile

Thanks guys!

We are indeed in Chislehurst, but only since mid-December so we’ve had limited chance to drink in the pubs. Ready to try a few beer gardens now and looking forward to stumbling out of the Bulls Head in particular!

The car is a great mix of sports car and practicality. My wife sat in the back at the weekend alongside our puppy and said it was like being chauffeur-driven, properly stretched out. We are planning some UK road trips to take advantage of it.

It’s interesting to see that ad on Autotrader. I paid a much more competitive price than that and have owned the car for a few weeks now. I’ll look into why it’s still being advertised and will hope I’ve picked up a future classic!

Great choice. Much better than the high-C of G alternatives.

Unfortunately work has asked us to move to USA in the spring, so panamera will be up for sale. other than pistonheads of course, where's best to sell a rare manual Panamera?
