What the estimated value these days of a 968 CS 120k miles well cared for recent 5k spend ?

I remember a time when i though about buying one but never got round to it.

Also the car in question has "factory ordered no costs comfort seats"

Tks in advance.

Depends on condition/colour/abuse levels really. At 120k probably somewhere between 12k to 30k. I know that's a massive chasm, but some are literally rotten and some are still like new.

That means it is probably a Sport, not a Clubsport

Are you referring to the car on Collecting Cars?

Looks really nice that. Is it actually a club sport though?

Yes that’s the car but I know very little about these cars although the 1st thing I noticed was the lack of buckets.

The description has mentioned the “no cost comfort seats” but they look like 993/964 seats to me too.

I’m also at a loss to know weather it’s an S or a CS
Although the description states “Club Sport”

You could always ask them to send a picture of the rear tailgate release handle, just behind the passenger seat by the rear wheel arch.
Boot keyhole appears a blank as it should be on a CS, apart from the seats as mentioned looks fine to me.

Beautiful 968 Club Sport for sale with BorderReivers.co
guards Red car with same owner since 1998.
Not my car but known the previous owner for the last 25 years.
It’s a peach.

Some club sports do seem to have been ordered without the buckets. The lack of buckets will affect resale. Also the cam chains wear and damage the cam sprockets which are part of the cams. These go unnoticed as theres no service schedule on them. I had a cs but ultimately found it a bit boring.

Yes paint does look rough plus those seats I’d want to replace for the recaros which wouldn’t be cheap

I already knew the maths, I was calling you out. Perhaps you know why it has the wrong seats, and looks like it's been painted with a roller?
What do you mean by "calling me out"? Your two points are non sequitur to me knowing the owner..

Have you seen the paint first hand? Have you asked the seller about the seats?

biggrin

Anyways, the easiest way to clean up the query of the OP is for them to contact the Seller and check the Build Sticker etc.

Personally I'd prefer a CS with Recaros; had them in my 993.. Toying with the idea of slotting some in my 968 Sport..

I don’t know enough about these cars so it’s something of a minefield for me.

The auction car made £21250
