Ex-Japan but seems to be a very tidy example. A manual would be even better !

That’s lovely and Amazon Green is a fantastic colour...the automatic box wouldn’t put me off, think it probably suits the character of the car. £50k price tag does though! Never driven or owned a 928 but always loved them.

Woah, 50K is steep..

But..

Late 928s look so good, and previous owner would suggest it is as good as it looks..

The autobox is a bit of a masterpiece. Granite unit straight out of the GWagen.
Gear ratios are lively and pleasantly surprising !

I had a 95 GTS for a couple of years and did nearly 30k in it as a daily driver. Auto is better than manual in my experience - manual box not the best and the pedals reminded me of those in a lorry smile

Looks like it's been painted with a roller.

I don't drink Gin. If you can't see the state of the bonnet, it's well past specsavers time for you.

Well it's not concours and neither is it purporting to be.

Getting perfect paint is an easy fix especially with plenty of OPC's now having Classic accreditation and warranty.
Had one of mine repainted last year - excellent results smile

It is purporting to be "superb" though. Do you have some connection with the car or owner?

Box suites it well and can be made even better. '94 and '95 MY automatics have dynamic kickdown as standard. It changes one gear down when pedal is pressed fast enough even when kickdown is not yet triggered. It makes driving more fun. Setup can be added to automatic S4 and older GTS by changing few parts and adding one more wire to engine wiring. It's also possible to change box behaviour by changing springs inside control unit. It being Mercedes box some parts are available outside Porsche dealers which can be used to make it as one likes. Car in Silverstone auction was '92 MY. '93 and newer would have airbag steering wheel and '94 MY some additional changes.
