Picked up the new motor this week. Changed from a 2018 Cayenne Turbo to the 2019 cayenne coupe turbo so no difference in performance, just in looks.
Comparison between the old and the new.
The new one also has the sports exhaust which sounds much better. The standard exhaust is very quiet and always wished I had specced it when I ordered it. Didn't make that mistake this time.

I have a Macan which is becoming a bit of a squeeze for children with kiddie seats in the back. Cayenne Coupe appeals but concerned the lower roofline might make it uncomfortable for adults in the back.

Had the hatch cayenne for just over a year and did 19k miles in it. I prefer the styling of the coupe but haven't noticed any real difference in space inside. Your kids would be more than comfortable in the back. It also drives like a sports car and gets to 60 quicker than the dbs so it's a laugh to drive! I think it looks great (hate the BMW X6!) but not for our driveway....our Cayenne carries dogs and a twice a year goes to the Alps for family skiing holidays where every inch of luggage space is needed!

I think it looks a bit more up-to-date than the hatch cayenne and haven't noticed a massive difference in boot space. We use a RR Vogue as the luggage carrier anyway so that's not something I needed to consider when buying it. unrelated question - do you or anyone else know whether the £3k deposit 'locks' in the price, as there's a price increase for the 2020 model yr & my deposit was down the the e-hybrid in july last year (!).
I would have thought as a gesture of goodwill, porsche GB would freeze the price given the lengthy wait - ehybrid & WLTP issues and all that.

I think it looks a bit more up-to-date than the hatch cayenne and haven't noticed a massive difference in boot space. I saw a Cayenne Coupe at my OPC today thought it looked great, had the lightweight pack so the carbon roof and the houndstooth interior. Was in a dark brown/maroon colour which worked really well with the grey wheels. I’d never have specced that combo but would having seen it. Battery was flat so couldn’t open the boot!
Lightweight pack...on a Cayenne...surely it must have PCCBs to offer some credibility? I haven't checked the configurator but I can't imagine the carbon roof being cheap. I'm somewhere between amused / bemused / admiring of Porsche for offering something so utterly ridiculous and being able to get away with it!

I can't be bothered to look all those up but if those options are priced at anything like the same level as they are on the Panamera, that's well over £10k of options, probably more like £15k.

We have a Cayenne and was at the local PC today picking up a new wiper blade. Anyway we chauffeur our Husky around in our Cayenne and theres no chance he will be able to get in the coupe.
So as for a Great Dane you'll be lucky to get a leg in the coupe. It's the same floor area as the Cayenne but cut half the upper off at an angle and there you have it. One squashed pooch unless you have a jack russell
So we will wait for a Cayenne GTS.

I’ve got a nicely specced Cayenne Coupe as a loan car whilst my 997 GTS is in for a service. It’s the base model and has a few boxes ticked and appears to be an £80k list car! We’ve got a Cayenne S Diesel and a Mayan Turbo PP. Car has the Air PASM and has a noticeably better ride than our 2017 S Diesel....for those that care the handling is improved on the old car and is not too far from the Macan now...big step on dynamically I would say and the old car is great for what it is.
I think the new PCM definitely needs a few too many button presses for some things (eg changing the ride height). Interior space feels the same as the regular Cayenne to me but the boot isn’t a dog carrying one.
Biggest issue for me is that the engine in the base car doesn’t feel like one that you’d expect to find in an £80k...it’s pretty ordinary. Much prefer the torquey power delivery of the S Disesl. Car I have has PSE fitted but I wasn’t able to spot the difference yesterday. Also getting low 20’s MPG with very little urban driving....not great at all.

Yes I agree. Even the S Petrol still doesn't feel special enough for the price. The turbo however, is extraordinary. How disastrous is the mpg on the Turbo ?! My Macan Turbo PP is quite a bit more economical than the base Coupe.
