2013 pre facelift v 2014/15 Cayenne
Discussion
The earlier 4.2 diesels make a much nicer noise and feel more punchy, but they aren’t Euro 6 approved so you’ll fall foul of the London emissions charge if that’s a concern. All the pre facelift cars have the earlier V8 diesel.
I believe the air suspension was recalibrated on the later cars, more than just relabelling the three PASM settings. Early cars had comfort, normal and sport, with the default being the middle normal setting, and comfort being very soft and wallowy, suitable for around town or motorway wafting only. I think there were also some suspension upright changes which tightened things up on the later cars.
Otherwise the changes were the external cosmetics which you’ve mentioned, and I think a few things like Xenon lights became standard rather than options. Look very carefully at the spec of pre 14 cars as almost *everything* was optional.
I ran a last of the line 2014 Platinum Edition 3.0 diesel as a family car for 4 years and loved everything about it except the lack of a few hundred more horsepower. The V8 should sort that nicely! If you don’t mind the looks you should be able to bag a bargain.

No, high beam assist was only included with PDLS+ on the pre facelift cars. I upgraded from basic xenons to PDLS on my Diesel and they moved with the steering, had some speed-related beam shaping, cornering (fog) lights, but still no auto high beam.
I’m a bit spoiled now - my new one has 84 pixel matrix LEDs which work like witchcraft, but at a somewhat exorbitant cost. I liked the light quality of the PDLS lights on my old Diesel and never missed the high beam assist; it was very hit and miss on the last car I had with it (admittedly a BMW rather than a Porsche).
P.s. Beware the depth of the options list. Standard lights before 2015 were halogen on most of the range. They only introduced xenons as standard on the platinum edition run-out specials, and even then they were relatively basic 35W versions. You still had to pay extra for PDLS to get brighter adaptive lights.

To be honest now I'm thinking should I just wait and get a well specced MY18 Cayenne as Diesels are only going to get a battering depreciation wise as well as lacking in the great tech they've incorporated into the latest model.
If I find a brilliant spec facelift Cayenne S then I might be tempted but may need to save some more pennies to get MY18 base Cayenne or an S.
