Any tyres recommendations (or ones to avoid) for my 2007 S, running 275/40/R20.

Was thinking about Pirelli Scorpion Zero Asimmetrico as they are All Season.

I've got Bridgestone Dueler H/P Sport on mine (19"), great tyres in all weathers and handle extremely well for a 2 ton car!!

Conti sport contacts 275/45-19's are nice and grippy and last fairly well, usually about 10,000 miles £750 for the 4. I ran these for about 100/120,000 miles.
Now I use the car as a dog carrying van and just run around locally in it so I've gone for whatever is cheapest at the local tyre place. Usually about £250 for a set of 4 fitted, makes I've never heard of. The grip levels are lower but not really a concern or noticeable in day to day driving, only if you drive in a fashion not advisable on a public road ! Noise levels and ride quality (air suspension) are much the same as the expensive tyres. Wear is comparable and to be honest the cost saving is quite handy !

The tyres on it now are cheap "no-name" ones (Accelera) , and to be fair they have been excellent.

Don't drive it like a lunatic anyway so I've never had grip issues in the dry or wet and they are All Weathers and they stood up really well to the snow we had earlier this year.

Given how good the car was on All Weathers, I'm loathe to put on a purely Summer tyre ... especially as Winter is approaching.

Time to have a dig around to see if I can find some cheap All Weathers .. I can't find the existing ones anywhere

I run separate winters & summers. The summers are Vredestein Vorti, the winters are due for replacements but are Dunlops.

I run a 2008 3.6ltr with the GTS 21" rims. Only last week I fitted 4 Yokohama's (295 35 zr21 107y) N rated for £712 that was tires, balancing & fitting. They were the cheapest N rated tires I could find. My other choice would have been Uniroyal Rain Sport 3's & they were coming in at £664 (very good reviews) but ended up going for the N rated tires for the extra £48.
