Cayenne turbo???

Just looking a bit of advice, as thinking of buying an 2011 cayenne turbo

Opinions of them?

I'd also be interested in the replies. Currently got a 2011 3.0d but really hanker after a turbo. Pope (PH member) knows his stuff very well and can probably give the best answer so hopefully he'll respond. Fuel is the only thing holding me back - do I take the plunge knowing it'll be approx double what my 3.0d uses, or do I buy a V8d and only spend approx 10-15% more on fuel. I'd also be interested to hear if the turbo (with sports exhaust) sounds as good as the V8 GTS?

Haven’t heard the gts at all but dear god that turbo - firing it up is one of the best sounds I have ever heard from a car - couldn’t believe how good it sounds

I bought one last month with 58k miles on and the gear box went after a few days. It was great to drive while it lasted though.

I took the plunge also. Strange move for some to comprehend, however v pleased. Not quite used to it yet but it's quite like an original yet heavier Audi RS6 Avant.

Great compromise between performance and luxury.
