2017 Porsche Macan Sat Nav
Discussion
The Sat Nav on my Macan has gone on the wander, with the car seemingly unable to tie up its position on the map.
To start with, the problem was intermittent but is now permanent, with the 'car' wandering slowly, on the map, towards the Outer Hebrides while sitting stationary in Edinburgh!
The local Porsche dealership have briefly looked at the problem and have suggested that replacement parts will be required.
These same parts are not however currently available and I wondered whether there was a simple fix available (loose connection or system reboot?) that
could be carried out without invalidating the warranty?
Any thoughts would be welcome.

No. The windscreen of the car has been untouched from new and no servicing work has been carried out.
The fault was intermittent at first, which led me to think that there was a loose connection between the sat nav's antennae and the main unit.
I'm not sure where the antennae is and am reluctant to start poking about too much, in case I invalidate the car's warranty.
