Does anyone know what the 0-60 time is reduced to once the 4.2 litre has been remapped to give 440 bhp and 740 lb of torque?

Might be best posting in the Porsche section, plenty of Cayenne owners in there

Only a small set people would waste money on a 4.2 diesel Porsche.

Of those people only a handful would have accurately tested their 0-60

Of those people only a tiny handful would have had remap to specifically 440hp

Of those people only a minuscule handful would have then re-tested their 0-60

Which is why you have no answer on a non Porsche specialist anti diesel forum.

Try youtube "cayenne diesel 4.2 remap" - normally someone posts the results of a remap.

Why the anger? This is an open forum.

PS. your capslock seems to be stuck. Normally left hand side of the keyboard, about half way up.

I think someone has become rather excitablehehe

Why the urgency to know? 0-60 on a diesel SUV isn't really that important. In gear times will probably be more useful to know.

So OP, are you a troll finding ways to waste time during the school holidays or just a bellend?

5.4 for the standard car, will probably take a few tenths of, maybe 4.9 to 5.1 I would expect.

When I drove the diesel Cayenne I didn't think it needed more power, but did think it needed to be about 2 foot lower and half a tonne lighter. T'was a little buttock clenching when I enquired vie the steering wheel if Herr Pork wouldn't mind going around the corner we were approaching.

But they go around corners pretty well?....well damped, like a rs6 on stilts. In summary, you'd have to be pretty cack handed to get one into trouble.

To the OP, you'd be looking at sub 5 seconds to 60, but the real benefits would be mid range rpm. Id recommend speaking with someone like DMS for what can be achieved.

As ever, new members get to run the gauntlet of fire.

OP...it's more of a philosophical question but why would you buy such a car, then want to start trying to improve the completely irrelevant 0-60mph time?

That car is a slightly-less-wobbly diesel SUV. It is not a performance car.

Stock = 5.7secs;
Stage 1 = 5.1secs.
