Long term lurker!

Hi everyone,

Long time lurker but lover of all things from Stuttgart! Drove a 911 turbo on one of those fabbled car experience days and it was the best car on the day by a county mile! Been a fan ever since.

Onto modern day and I'm happy to say I'm an expecting parent whilst looking at a larger car for us the Cayenne has made itself know and with my love for the brand it's become a no brainer.

Ill be doing low miles per year so mpg doesn't bother me and servicing costs are what they are.

My dilemma is this -

9/10k budget and plenty fall into this category

should I be concerned by high miles as long as it has full service history ?

With the S models I've heard grumbles that the engine coating can break away and cause catastrophic failures is this true ?

if the above is true was it ever sorted/changed ?
