A turbo pp

Now just for the year wait. Managed to get away with 16k worth of options. Turns it in to quite an expensive car.

Main ones were exterior design pack at 4K and 4K interior pack, the other 8k of options are basically what it should come with in the first place

Nice! If you're waiting that long you should go PTS!....didn't realise you could on a Macan til I saw a PTS car at my local OPC.

or

The PTS is a Soviet tracked amphibious transport. PTS stands for Plavayushchij Transportyer - Sryednyj or medium amphibious transport vehicle

Anyone took delivery of a Turbo PP yet ? I've still seen no reviews .....Mines in U.K. now so difficult decision whether to leave it for a week to take Jan 1st or have it over Xmas .

Kept mine down to £75k as pretty will Spec-ed as standard . Volcano Grey , 21,s , Pan Roof , black badges , handles ,windows , trim , lights , roof rails . . Heated wheel and seats . Park Assist and A few other odds and sods I can't remember now .

Would love interior pack , Shame it wasn't a touch cheaper .

Ref spending £85k on a Macan . This is my 5th and am actually slightly up ! Suspect 6month in this won't cost very much ......although there is a lot more Macans around now , my OPC had only had 2 PP,s , so pretty rare so far . Has the next batch just been allocated if the OP just ordered ?

Was told By my Porsche Centre they only had 1 allocations at the time I got it. Can't imagine it will be like that for long but agree (Evan at £85k) 6 months ownership should not cost that much if lucky. Will part ex a Macan GTS again I think with very little loss.

I'd wait until January unless you have lots of travel planned over the holiday period.

Of course, but it'll be a 2017 car...

Don't think 2 weeks would reduce its value but who knows?

I think it's worth more than you'd think...i.e. if you sell it in nine months time it's still a 2017 car rather than a "last year's" car...that said these are obviously rare as rocking horse st so might not make a difference.

Paint to Sample

You could have

Viper Green

http://rennlist.com/forums/vehicle-marketplace/952...

or Gulf Blue

http://rennlist.com/forums/vehicle-marketplace/948...

Or one of many other colours! Money well spent I think as PTS cars definitely fetch a premium (and you're probably paying something for the paint colour you have selected anyway so it's not 100% additive)....I saw a post on Twitter recently of a guy who had just taken delivery of his Macan in Sport Classic Grey to match his 997 Sport Classic. Looked superb!

I agree that PTS could be a worthwhile option on a Macan.

Not cheap, but the current colour range is a bit boring, and all the ones I see seem to be spec'd in a narrow range of predictable silvers, greys, blacks. Wouldn't go too 'vivid' on a Macan though.

WRT registering in Dec or Jan; these days it wouldn't bother me, and I don't think it really makes much difference to values, all other things considered. I'd be more concerned about the 'Model Year' or Reg if there was a close cross over.

Picking it up Tuesday . Life's to short to leave it sitting in the dealers over Xmas . It'll be changed for something sportier soon as the Sun comes back out so probably 4/5 months tops .

1st Impressions .... Brakes are impressive, calipers are noticeably bigger , and it sounds nice ( albeit inside garage )

Rest is standard turbo
