Porsche 924 2.5 S Le Mans - Valuation needed
Discussion
They say the best cars find you, I never really got that when someone said it to me years ago,
though when you own a few good ones, a lot of dogs and a few crackers it all makes sense.
Anyway, thrown this as a curve ball today. A 1987 2.5S genuine Le Mans edition of which there were
only 37 in white 37 in Back, so pretty rare. It has covered what is believed at tis stage
to be a genuine 27000 miles with 6 owners and is totally original as its meant to be.
I have been asked to value it for the estate, I might own it though probably not so
perhaps a futile exercise. Anyone owned one, or own one currently, and what would
one ask for a proper original model like that these days and hope to get?

They don't fetch much more than a normal S, but a 27k mile one would obviously be worth a reasonable amount, maybe high 4 figures? You'd have to find a buyer though, and there's probably not many people interested in these.
A lot of owners who never drove it?.. The clocks only go up to 99999 don't they? What's the interior like? The seat fabric didn't wear very well IIRC.

Well that one in the thread is from the 924 Owners Club 2014 Event City stand and belongs to RobFin, I doubt he'd sell it for less than £15k. GmundCars have a solid example in at £10k.
It was a run out model at the end of 924 production, very expensive and well past the car's sell by date in the day. A great little car now.
