Cayenne S diesel 2016
Discussion
Why do they have to make it so hard to spend your money? Mine was ordered 4th August, I would have expected it to have been in the first new batch. Trouble is I've lost all faith in what the dealer tells me. When in 2017 is the new model out? I'm worried I'm going to be spending a lot of money on a car that may not be current for anymore than 12 months :-/

if there is anything scheduled for 2017 I would have thought it would be a gen 2 iteration rather than a completely new model. I would have thought 2017 would be too soon for a new model; 2018 maybe? The next Cayenne is due for Model Year 2018, so on the road mid 2017. It will be based on the same new VW platform as the new Audi Q7, albeit a bit shorter, and everyone is expecting more advanced hybrid tech, but it's anyone's guess what and when different variants will actually go on sale in the UK.

Yep, have noticed some press releases for the new 2017/2018 Cayenne. May well hold off until then. In no rush & enjoying the 997Koln-RS said:

Is that just a gut feeling or have you seen any press releases?Stuff on the internet is a little vague on this from wnat I can see; but most pundits are saying 2017. But this is where it gets interesting. There is a very strong indication Porsche will release a Cayenne Coupe to rival the BMW X6 as well as release a new Cayenne. If so, Porsche will obviously want to stagger release dates.
