Macan GTS

Anybody got any information on when this car is going to launch? I'm guessing it will be announced at Frankfurt in a couple of weeks but surprisingly there appear to be no leaks.

+1. I've been looking for a few months and no information. Have been holding off Experience Day in the Turbo as OPC are happy to swap order into GTS. They won't commit much info but seem to be saying announcement at Frankfurt which given as it's coming up fast I'm also surprised no leaks to date.

No I think it will be the S engine tuned up rather than the turbo tuned down.

I've got my name down for one of these (which has had to be prioritised over other toys) but would like to know if I've got to hand over some cash in a couple of weeks or not.

My dad has just bought a new Mecan S 3.0 derv and I have to say it's bloody great so the GTS will be epic

Lost sight of the waiting list on Macans at the moment. Any ideas?

Latest I was told last week was Feb / Mar for a S, so still 6 months but they do seem to get random allocations now and again reducing that . And turbos 8-12m

I've a new Diesel on the drive now ready to use tomorrow , assuming it doesn't sell today as I finally got allocated a Turbo build earlier than expected ( the guy above me didn't want a car till next Mar) .

I've had an LOI in for a while ref the Macan GTS it'll be bloody typical if this gets announced in the next couple of weeks and the Turbo ends up being short lived as well !

Yes I drove one of those. It was like a jacked up hot hatch, fast and fun. Think the GTS will be a riot, will make a nice combo with the R, when the thing actually arrives! I'm just surprised that there haven't been any recent leaks. This car was first spotted over a year ago now.

Still can't see anything on this. I think there's a good chance it has been delayed. I suspect Porsche are quite busy at the moment what with the new 4 cylinder turbo Boxster and Cayman range as well as the 6 cyl turbo 911. The introduction of a new trim level for the macan probably isn't a priority.

Ordered my GTS yesterday with provisional spec with April / May delivery guide.

Hope the other half likes it but if not ill swap her for the 330d
