I used to have one that looked identical, dream car and first Porsche, paid 17k for it back in 91 I think it was.
Did it come from Perth OPC by any chance ??
Looks great anyway.

Purchased it from a retired chap called Cliff in North Lincolnshire, its a very honest car, Cliff spent thousands in the last 12 months on things like tensioners, suspension, fuel lines, tyres, service, wax oil, geo, etc. etc. there is a big file with it also, for 5k it's a steal, the drive over Woodhead pass to Cheshire was fantastic, handling through corners was perfect, no roll, no under or over steer, I don't know much about the 944 yet but I think there are some factory upgrades on it, sunroof, large bolster electric seats, met paint?
I wonder how many Baltic Blue 944 S2's are still on the road now? love to find out!!

Should have said that's how mine used to look, saw it for sale last year with different wheels, prefer the originals to be honest. I was almost tempted to buy it again but resisted :

Anyway enjoy the daily run.

It's a beaut! And is that the 'linen' (cream) interior too? Best colour combo for these cars, but I'm biased!

They are truly great cars and that looks like you nicked it, bargain or what!

Can't wait to get mine back on the road.

Yes I'm feeling the 944 love, just been through the receipts file, there's enough here to embarrass NASA. the car has done barely 1000 miles a year in the last 5 years yet the receipts are huge.
I'm sure going to get a few trouble free miles over the next year, only expect to cover 4k miles myself as I have other wheels, both 2 and 4 smile))))

The sports seats were an extra but the rest mentioned was standard (the sunroof was a compulsory extra).

My Turbo has electric everything and full fabric seats. For that money he could have specified leather sports seats!

Love that to bits. Fabulous. cmoose you've got to do a review of one of these and a 944 turbo too.

The thing is the S2 pretty much gives all its got engine wise, whereas the turbo was reined in by Porsche, a £300 ECU uprate on the turbo will see it run away from the S2, which was completely ignored in the comparison tests back in the day.

More to the point ...Baz of Hartech maintains that even the 220 bhp turbo will show a clean pair of heals to the 968.
I've alway been sceptical of the 240 bhp claim for the 968.

Nearly bought one of those in the very same colour many moons ago. Still hanker after one.
