lowering a 2006 turbo S (with air)

Has anyone experience of lowering a Cayenne 2006 turbo S (with air) please

I understand its possible to have the ECU re-programmed to lower the car? I have also seen some references to changing the links?

Not sure just how high the car should ride anyway but mine seems to be quite high with a big gap above the wheels in normal setting
