Hi all,

I'm looking to buy a Cayenne Turbo in a couple of weeks, I have a couple of quick questions the more experienced might be able to help with:

1. Is air suspension a default or option on the Turbo.
2. Is there an exhaustive/good buyers guide for the Cayenne, I've searched and found bits & bobs but nothing extensive.

I'll be looking at models from 2004-2006.

Thanks in advance.

The air suspension was standard on the 955TT + a lot of other options.

Dunno for the buyers guide.

There's a lot of standard kit on the turbo, your better off concentrating on he bits that are there all work.
Evo did a buyers guide that's an easy Google away.

AFAIK the turbo is pretty much fully loaded, that said there re a few empty spaces on the console pad that is hidden below the Sat Nav and infotainment screen but
otherwise all present.
As for buying guides I did not see any before I bought but the usual suspects I guess.
Coolant Pipes, Carden shafts, Propshaft Bearings, Electrical Gremlins
Would I buy again..................Yes definitely and I would focus on condition and service intervals/history.

I've a 2009 diesel without AS, but my neighbour who has an older Turbo with AS has had endless large bills for the AS system settled through the warranty at around £2-2.5k a pop.

Thanks Rob, noted.

I'm hoping Jshel that your neighbours AS problems are the exception as Google searches throw up very few issues with Cayenne Turbos with the exception of those mentioned by Rob.

Another 2 weeks before I test drive one and coming from an M5, I'm quite looking forward to a different driving experience.
