Cayenne S 4.8 engine

As I am currently looking for a 2007 or 2008 model I have been doing the usual research on here and elsewhere
about engine failures on Cayennes and can't seem to find a lot of problems with the 4.8 only the bore scoring issue
with the older 4.5 litre.

So my assumption is that Porsche did something to address the issue at the time of the facelift cars?

Any help appreciated as I am a veteran of the 996 RMS scare and it didn't put me off getting one of those!!
