Is anyone here running it, read about 2 or 3 cars with it that have hardly turned a wheel and other setups costing half as much as the car. £1-2k seems plenty to spend on MAF/MAP engine management for a £10-15k car to me.

It seems not, what about a piggyback MAF kit then, Rogue or Vitesse for example ?

I've put about 15000 miles on Microsquirt (Megasquirt variant), prob cost about a grand by the time you add rolling road costs.
Heard good things about Augment Automotive, would probably have used it but I already had mine set up.

Mines set up for MAP but can use MAF or even just TPS at a push.
One advantage is fault finding. I had a breakdown the other day so I could just plug the laptop in and check all the sensors easily, turned out it was the Immobiliser dropping the voltage to the ECU.
I can also fairly easily control boost levels with a 3d map and use a standard solenoid.
One downside is the complexity of wiring and setup.

I think the Augment plugs straight in to the standard Loom but also supports MAP, boost control etc they have a website if you google it.

Yes I'm keeping watch on the Augment setup, I think it's promising but not much info on Turbo's running with it yet. Did you ever find the other bits of those 968 brake ducts ?

Ah, hello Paul. I did spot them a while back, will have a dig in the garage when I'm a bit less injured.

Hope it's nothing serious. Had a quick look at Microsquirt and it looks like you had to start from scratch ?.

Nothing that won't heal, the perils of silly sports.

Yeah the micro squirt was a lot of effort. but for me it's more about the journey and learning. For plug and play I'd look elsewhere.

There's a few tuners in the states offering 944 standalone kits with new looms, and base maps, but adding on around 30% import fees means they're silly money.
