There does not seem to be much activity in this forum so thought I would share what I have been up too....
Spend the day tinkering with our rolling project 944 2.7. We now have working dash lights, an interior light, stuck down clean carpet, a mounted bonnet release and wash wipes! Oh and some non flappy bits if trim ....
Very pleased
What have you all been tinkering with??

I collected the second cheapest spare part OPC Swindon had sold yesterday!
But it did stop my passenger sunvisor flapping about. No idea why or when it broke but now its fine. Took a whole 30 seconds to fit.
Very pleasant chaps at Swindon, lots of very nice metal just lying about. Oh and a Toyota Corolla hoisted up on one of the lifts. I was confused.
It was next to a nice E reg 944 though (and a 72 2.7RS which was very nice)

I helped my mate do a final fit of his GT3 recaros and Scroth harnesses. Also passed a Euro Car parts as I left his premises so treated my GT3 to a new battery.
Haven't fitted it yet mind. Wish I had more time for tinkering like the good old days. Will hardly have any car time this year due to house stuff.
Glad you had a productive session on your car. Good fun.

So any tinkering going on this weekend?
Picking up the roofbars for mine tomorrow! And then.....sort the load cover, new interior light, check tracking, fit the new fir trees on boot carpet, follow up the orders for the door seals, dash trim, etc.

GC8 - I have decided to go for door cars only at the mo but am sure he did give a firm price, I will check at work tomo and post up his response.
Had to keep tinkering to essentials only as she needs to remain in one piece for a run up to Durham next weekend.
Pics....mmm not really done any. Will try and get some next weekend.

Thanks Richard. If you can recall or ask again then Id be grateful. Id be interested to know if he can simply deal with cracking too, on a series two dash.
I have a dash that Id intended to have flocked, but its perfect and too good to use in that way, so I sourced another one, but its really cracked...
