Can't remove ignition key
Discussion
I have a problem with my 2006 Cayenne... I can't remove the ignition key.
The dashboard is telling me that I need to be in Park before I can remove the key, however the gear stick is in park and the dashboard is actually indicating that it's in Park too.
Anyone had this issue?
I've done some Googling and I've read about magnets on the gear stick, corroded wiring harnesses and faulty solenoids. Don't know where to look first, also it's been parked up for a while as I've got a company car now and the battery has been getting quite flat so I wonder if that's something in the mix too?
Any ideas?

On my 2006 997 if there is the battery is disconnected then the key doesn't come out (IF its turned to the "1" position). I've read that this happens also in case of low battery.Any ideas?
On my car there is a little flap on the key hole ring that you can remove and insert the thin metal rod to unblock the key (my word.... sounds like I'm talking about something else here!!). Don't know if any of this applies to Cayennes though...
