Can somebody talk me through rear axle interchangeability?
Discussion
924S/944/951/968 - title too short to include this.
My understanding is that the rear axle from the 924S onwards was basically the same, but can somebody outline the major differences? I've tried comparing the PETs but I suspect somebody out there knows the general philosophy of how the models changed over the years.
This is with a view to putting together a combined PET, once I can work out how to unlock the PDF files available from Porsche. Most PDFs aren't password protected so you can split them into individual parts, but theirs are.

Everything really. By axle I meant rear trailing arms, axle shafts, bearings, brakes, shocks, springs, bushes etc. I have started to go through the PETs to find common items, but I'm sure somebody out there knows a synopsis of how the models developed and what can be used throughout the range.
I say rear axle because it's easy enough to get information on how the engine/drivetrain/front suspension changed, but not the rear axle/suspension.
