Evening all.

After multiple changes of direction, and whilst I'm still not 100% sure, I'm considering the move back into porker ownership. I've been looking at newish Cayennes, are the S's all hybrids? Must admit its the one range I'm not overly familiar with.

Thanks,

M.

My Cayenne S is a Diesel S. Highly recommend one of these.

I was kind of tempted by the diesel however I'm not sure I can bring myself to buy a non-petrol car, especially a Porsche. I think the problem is my only experience of diesel cars was gained in the 90's driving dodgy work cars and vans....

I just think that by buying a diesel a little bit of my soul will die... A bit like ordering a diet coke in a bar..

So true, whilst i own a diesel 159 sportswagon for business i have to have super unleaded pumping through my Porsche for pure adrenalin. 12 mpg still doesn't wipe that smile from my face when near 600 bhp is moving quickly biggrin

Why buy high performance then worry about fuel?
Never quite get it myself.

Had a diesel Cayenne S as a loaner last week - it was like sitting in a well appointed lounge, that could get to 100 in under 12 seconds. It lacks some petrol drama, but the shove is just epic, ALL of the time. Wouldn't be my own choice I have to admit as it's just too damn big, but what a machine...

You drive the v8 diesel s , it sounds like yank v8 petrol car, people look all the time, goes like stink 0-60 near 5 sec, handles very well, a bit heavy on tyres but best alround car ever had and I have had too many .

Ps you don't live that far from me , welcome to come and have see and take a ride
