I have a 944 Turbo Cup which arrived to me fitted with upgraded discs and hub carriers (of Porshe origin with porsche 951 part numbers) which when I needed a new pair of front discs Porsche disowned ... and I had to find an engineering update from them which prove that I was not telling fibs ... they had lost their legacy memory.

Having had the original discs replicated as a two part set, I've passed the pattern and authority to use it, to Dave Lindsey should he be able to make use of the specification ...

If you can ever make use of this please PM me ...

Thanks Chris.
I have a set of Lindsey Racing rotor hats (black) & two-piece rotors (322mm) as spares for when the one-piece rotors need replacement.

The Lindsey Brothers (mike & Dave) have a been a great help as has Chris White (944 Enhancements), Karl Poeltl (Racers Edge), Jon Milledge (Jon Milledge Engineering), Tim Richards (Speed Force Racing), Jon Mitchell (JMG), Bill Dailey (Dailey Engineering), Matt Monson (Guard Transmissions), Lori at Kennedy Engineered Products and Emmanuel Garcia at Ferrea Racing Products.

Mark Shead at MA Developments has been a great help regarding the ECU, sensors and sensor bosses throughout the intake and exhaust system.
Scott Leandres at Elephant Racing has also been helpful.

I can't speak highly enough of Demon Tweeks who have been helpful and also Merlin Motorsport.

When this car is running (it needs to go to MA Developments) I'd like to get Robert Gant to show it to some journalists in the Porsche community as the final car built by Gantspeed Engineering before it closed its doors after 47 years in September 2023.

Two thoughts:

Its beautiful, and beaufitully clean. You cant possibly drive it, right?? biggrin and
-Thats a lot of 1litre oil in the background.

I remember when my company car allowance incliuded oil. Every now ang again, my Rover 200 would "need" some oil... which was Mobil 1.
the 944 Turbo loved it, until the weak seals pissed it all out!

Nerve racking drilling of the Porsche cast uprights so as to thread for the control arm pins:

It's not yet on the road.

It'll take about 16 litres of oil (11 litres in the dry-sump tank) plus 4 - 5 litres through the oil lines, oil cooler (25 row x 330mm matrix) & motor.

Spring rates on the KW Clubsport 2-way coilovers are:

Front: 515 lb/in

Rear: 285 lb/in

I've upgraded from standard 25.5mm torsion bars to hollow 28mm equivalent to reduce squat under power and also reduce understeer.
