Any excuse! smile
My first ever car. Starting the way I intended to carry on. I often wonder if it’s out there somewhere still.
Can you recall the reg? I know a cassis S4.
Ooh, that's testing my ageing powers of recall. smile

I know it was a 1987 car and the registration started with an E. I think it might have been E328 or something like that because I sort of remember at the time thinking it was a shame it was only one digit from being a 928 numberplate. Not sure if this is helpful...but very excited to hear that it might still be out there somewhere and hopefully still going strong!
Curiouser and curiouser smile

I had a freshly rebuilt engine put in mine, taken from an E plate Cassis. The Cassis car was going to be used for parts, but they in turn got a decent used engine and now it is being restored. The pre 88 S4 engines were the best ones, they had better oil galleys and piston oilers.

I might not see it for a month or so, but I should get a peek at it at some point when mine goes in for some work. When I see it, I will let you know.
I turned down a Cassis S4 a couple of years ago as a replacement for my white one - looked OK superficially but needed far too much doing for the money being asked. I was never too sure about the colour - it’s one that I should like, but doesn’t quite look right to me. The seller did get what he asked from someone else who also knew what needed doing but had the funds to just say, “F*ck it”
