I know over the last few years engine mounts on the GT4 cars have been giving bother..

Porsche had said that they have modified them - has anyone noticed a difference?

And while in a similar topic., rear lens failure - ie misting up. Have the new units solved the problems?

Thanks

the rear lens mists up due to the design. it's an open unit rather than a sealed type like older lights. they all do it - brand new, older, 718, 911 etc.

i did see one guy on a 718 facebook group got new rear lights under warranty but from previous experience the OPC will say there's no issue with the lights misting up.

My OPC told me there is a big problem with the rear lenses. Mine where in the worst category and I was asked to monitor for a warranty replacement.

There's a big thread on either 911UK or Rentech about this.

Someone's got hold of the Porsche directive which classes moisture levels and recommends remedies. It has to be quite bad to get the replacement

Correct, water droplets need to be visible internally to get over the bar for a successful warranty claim but suspect it's more about how much the dealership will work with you.
