It's the screen washer fluid pipe. Common fault and can be sorted under warranty if you have it.

I replaced mine today.

If you aren't under warranty the tube costs c£18.30 (inc. VAT) from an OPC. You unclip two black screen washer assemblies - do this by opening the bonnet (obv) and pulling them from the bottom gently up in line with the bonnet then pull the bottom part away from the bonnet to release.

To remove the hose at that end, slip the two black u-clips open (they retain the hoses gently as they can spring off). This releases the hoses at the screen washers end. Prise off the rubber grommet and take the plastic trim off the bonnet ( you can see where the washer hose runs thru) and remove the hose assembly from the bonnet. Then use a torch and you can see that the broken hose connects to another little u-clip union. I wound you can reach down and open the clip and remove the broken hose.

To fit the new one, feed it in through the bonnet hole and connect the hose to your squirters and remount them. I found they just push in and lock. Feed the other end down through the bonnet and connect it to the feed pipe. Gain I found that you could close the black clip and just push the new hose end into the feed pipe with one hand.

Black bonnet clip and rubber grommet back on job done squirters like new, took me about 20 mins.

Now I know why the screen wash wasn't working quite as well as it used to!

All fixed under warranty as mentioned above, thanks for the info. In the video they sent I noticed the below pipe possibly leaking, although it only flashes up briefly in the video, does this look normal? They didn’t mention anything in the health check.

Looks like the exhaust to me, is the car running louder?

Interesting, thanks both. Car is definitely running loud but to be honest it always has. Will reach out to them and inquire further. Hopefully is just another warranty repair, I can't see exhaust excluded on the policy so here's hoping if an issue it's covered..read

Looks like a bit of soot on the top of the flange from a small blow out.

Possibly just a corroded stud gave up and needs replacing.
