I know this has been done to death over the years, but I see that both KW and Ohlins now offer an error cancelling module that you plug into the PASM socket. The KW one in particular says it can be used with other kits too.
My Cayman S has every option I could possibly want, except this. So, very keen to give it a go. Wondered if anyone has tried it out yet?

Your other option would be to fit the X73 springs (and ARBs), and then buy a DSC Sport control box and set the PASM dampers up how you want.

You can even have the dampers running at a fixed / passive setting using the DSC box. You could, for instance, have a softer mode with the dampers running actively and then have the sport mode as a fixed / passive damper mode with similar damping to the fixed X73 dampers. Best of both worlds / you get to retain full functionality.

I'd only delete PASM if you're going to a much higher performing aftermarket damper.

I am running H&R springs on PASM dampers and they work really well together. Worth noting there’s also an adaption in PIWIS which accounts for the shorter springs for the shocks.

A friend is also running the X73 springs with PASM dampers, again with coding adaption and also very pleased.

X73 ARB’s could be added as required.

I would also consider the DSC controller and some stiffer roll bars.

Someone I know fitted Ohlins and then changed to Tractive I think it was, to his 911, and I think it is the TracTive dampers that need a DSC controller.

He tracks his car a lot, but when going on Holiday across Europe he popped the OEM dampers back in and sent his off to have the damping adjusted slightly. He said in all honesty, if he had tried the DSC controller first he would have never changed from OEM.

He said you can get it so good if you spend a bit of time setting it up that it makes the £6k set ups just seem redundant. He said that on the track they is a bit more control so you can carry the speed more, but on road he actually prefers the standard dampers with the DSC controller.

He runs Eibach roll bars, says that is the first thing he would do if starting again.

That was around £1600 all in compared with the price of new suspension and losing out on having a nice, useable road and track mode, makes it a no brainer.
