Hi All

I've recently acquired a 987.2 which I love.

It does have the PSE,are there any mods that can increase the sound a tad?

I've read about de snorkeling but it appears to be a little ambiguous.

I don't want anything crazy loud but just a tad more....

The PSE isn't "on" all the time when it is switched on. The valves open and shut at various times. If you remove the enginge cover there is a connector you can disconnect after which the valves are always open. I did this on my R. Sounds better without being ridiculous and cost me nothing. You'll find instructions online. It makes a surprising difference.

Thank you.

If I take the fuse out, does that mean PSE will be on all the time irrespective of the button on the dash?

I tried a BMC filter and the de-snork myself but can't say it made any noticeable difference. I've a Carnewal exhaust which sounds good but I was after more induction noise really.

It isn't a fuse you remove, it's a connector in the engine bay. But yes, when that's done the PSE is in loud mode irrespective of the dash button.
