I have had my 2016 718 cayman from new and replaced the tyres some time ago....but i held onto the old ones.

they are Pzeros 2 x 235s and 2 x 265s ,.......I have 18 inch rims. they are All over the legal limit.

i just wondered if i should give them away for free or take them to a tyre shop to dispose of....

PM me if interested - in Liphook.

Recycle - can’t imagine anyone would want 8 year old pre-used tyres on a decent car.
You'd be surprised, stick them on ebay with no reserve and see what you achieve

I think all that proves is that there are a lot of tightfisted/stupid people in the world

There's nothing wrong with old tyres as long as they've been kept in cool, conditions out of direct sunlight. It's the UV in light that causes the rubber to become less pliable with age. Tyres kept out of sunlight have a very long shelf life. And if they still have legal tread on them, someone can make use of them!

Exactly, and had the EU not banned the additive that used to be put into the tyre compound to stop cracking they would be lasting even longer than they do today, as they used to.

thanks......i kept them in a cool shed....

I'm tempted to list them on ebay just to see, as I would have thought someone would want a set, even if it was just to sell the car.

No good for me as I have 20" wheels. That, and having made the switch to Michelin PS4S I'm not in a tearing hurry to go back to the P Zeroes. But a few years ago I took part in the limit handling day at North Weald and the rutted and rough surface was brutal on tyres. I did it just before replacing my tyres, but it would be nice to have a spare set in my size for similar activities!

FB marketplace is also a good bet as you get to keep all the cash
