original vodaphone tracker on 981 GT4

Hi All

I need to have an S5 tracker running on my GT4 to enable me to use a classic line policy that covers tarckdays. I have the 2 original (looks like unopened) tag things but don't have any paperwork for VTS tracker and Porsche connect seems to do nothing on this version (981) of GT4.

Does anyone know how I can activate this and how much a subscription costs? I'm hoping I don 't have to go to Porsche for this and could do this online if possible?

If VTS isn't the way to go does anyone know if a third party tracker will invalidate the OPC warranty?

You'll need to ring Vodafone and see if they can reactivate the tracker or even see it. The cost is ~£260 a year.

From memory (this was just over a year ago...) you need to create an account here: https://pcc.automotive.vodafone.com/ (or Google 'Porsche Vodafone Tracker').

You then need to call your OPC who will link your account to your car.

After that is when you can use the website to renew your tracker.

I went through all this with CL a couple of years ago, they’d actually fed me the wrong info, and I didn’t need the tracker active.
I’d been through the whole thing with OPC, trying to get the fobs etc, was a huge faff.
Mine was insured with them until last week, track cover included, no active tracker!
