Paint Repair Porsche AUC

I recently purchased a 15 month old, 1 owner Cayman, with 2K miles on the clock from an OPC. All seemed well to my untrained eye until the car went to my detailers for some PPF and ceramic coating. He has brought to my attention that the n/s door, rear quarter, A pillar and mirror casing have been resprayed. The quality of the areas resprayed appears very good. I am trying to ascertain from the dealership what has exactly happened to the car and who completed the repair work, however, they are not being very helpful at the moment.

Should the dealership, which is 130 miles from home, have advised me of the damage to the car which initiated panels being resprayed when I made my initial enquiry. Does anyone know what specifically the 111 point check, which they would have completed prior to retailing the car, covers in relation to paint and bodywork

They may not have known and, even if they did, I am not aware of any obligation to tell you about it.

Used cars having had paint is between common and normal. New cars having had paint is more common than you might imagine.

Could be a car park scrape that took in the rear panel, door and mirror. Unless the work is substandard or indicative of a major accident I would not be concerned.

What was made bu man can be repaired by man, who cares as long it is a good job?
