987 S Hood mechanism repair
Discussion
Hi Everyone, My hood on my Boxster S has just broken. I went to lower the hood and heard two bangs as i did so!!
On further investigation i have discovered that the two plastic ball joint connecters have snapped off the threaded connection bars. I have purchased some new ones but struggling to fit them. Any advice gratefully received. Alternatively if you know of anyone that specialises in these hood in Wiltshire Hampshire or Dorset, please send there details as wish to get this fixed asap!
Thanks in advance

Not sure about your area but these guys are specialists and have a good reputation. https://caymanautos.co.uk/convertible-roof-repairs...
A word of caution. If both sides have broken I would look for another fault rather than just replace the joints.
